interRAI QoL

The interRAI QoL survey is designed to allow each resident to self-report on his/her perspective concerning autonomy, privacy, comfort, relationships and meaningful activities.

The QoL survey can be used in conjunction with other instruments including the interRAI LTCF or Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) to allow homes to modify care environments and to institute care and program changes that improve resident experience and quality of life.

The interRAI QoL is fully compatible with provincial quality indicators.

Scales

The interRAI QoL calculates scales that can be used to evaluate an individual’s current clinical status. These scales have been carefully researched by interRAI to ensure that they are comparable to industry “gold standard” measures.
